Update on "Tiger Cyclowalk"

Here is an update of the progress of the Tiger Cyclowalk
Day 1
14.12.2013 -- Deputy field director buffer zone Tadoba IFS Narawane flagged off the 'Tiger Cyclo-Walk' from Mohorli gate, Tadoba today. 
The first lap of the "Tiger Cyclo-Walk" was of around 25 kilometers from Mohorli gate, Tadoba to Chandrapur.


Day 2
 15 Dec 2013
Chandrapur to Bhadrawati approx 24 kms.

En-route, team Tiger Cyclo-Walk had a company of shepherds from Rajasthan, for about 12 kilometers. The team got a chance to interact with them and will be beneficent with their rich experience of nomadic life.


Day 3
 16th December 2013. 
Bhadravati to Warora a distance of around 23 Kms.

Team "Tiger Cyclo-Walk" performed a tree plantation ceremony at Lokmanya school, Bhadravati. The students promised to maintain the tree for ever. Hence forward, Tiger Cyclo-Walk will take place every year. I am sure, Tiger Cyclo-Walk will experience a cool shade of the same tree in the years to come.

Number of students in the school -- approx. 1100.


Team "Tiger Cyclo-Walk" delivered its first audio visual presentation at Lokmanya school, Bhadravati, where students took an oath "Not to use plastic carry bags".  Mrs. Ghume, an activist from Bhadravati, arranged home made delicacies & accommodated the team "Tiger Cyclo-Walk" at a beautiful Jain temple in Bhadravati.
