Details about the Course

India is blessed with more than 1300 species of birds. The recent global event — Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) 2016 — has put India on 3rd highest number out of the 135 countries worldwide with highest number of species recorded from a single country. Moreover when it comes to wildlife, birds are the first preference of most of the nature enthusiasts in the country.

Owing to the popularity of birds and bird watching around us we are happy to launch a short term 'Online course on Birds for Beginners'. Eminent ornithologists like Dr. Asad Rahmani & Dr. Parvish Pandya from the country will be involved as experts for chats and study modules. It is a graded course and you will receive a Certificate after successful completion of the course.

As the name suggests, the course is suitable for amateur nature enthusiasts such as students, teachers and families. If birds excite you and you do not have any science background, this course might help you fuel your passion.
