Planning a safari in Kanha National Park often raises the question of whether winter or summer is the best time to visit Kanha National Park. Winter, from November to February, is popular among tourists because of the cool and pleasant weather. Morning and evening safaris are comfortable, and the forest remains lush and green after the monsoon. This season is ideal for birdwatching, scenic photography, and enjoying a relaxed Kanha jungle safari. Summer, from March to June, is considered the best time for tiger sightings in Kanha. As temperatures rise, animals frequently visit waterholes, increasing the chances of spotting wildlife, especially the majestic Bengal tiger. The forest also becomes less dense, which improves visibility during safaris. Overall, winter is perfect for a comfortable wildlife trip, while summer offers better chances of spotting big cats. Both seasons provide a unique Kanha safari experience, making the park a top destination for wildlife lovers.
