Forum > Travel > How Good is Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve for Tiger Spotting?

Posted by VISHAL on May 15, 2026

Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is considered one of the best tiger reserves in India for frequent tiger sightings. The park has a healthy tiger population, open forest landscape, and a good network of safari routes, which together improve the chances of spotting tigers during safaris. Visitors often report sightings near water bodies, bamboo forests, and grassland areas, especially during the summer season when animals gather around water sources.

One of the biggest reasons behind its popularity is the high success rate of tiger sightings compared to many other reserves. Safari zones like Moharli, Kolara, Navegaon, and Pangdi are especially famous among wildlife photographers and nature lovers. The reserve also offers both core and buffer zone safaris, giving tourists more opportunities to explore the forest.

Many travelers choose Tadoba National Park because it provides a raw and less commercial wildlife experience while still offering excellent safari infrastructure. Along with tigers, visitors can also spot leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs, deer species, and many birds. For anyone interested in wildlife photography or thrilling jungle safaris, Tadoba is a highly rewarding destination.
