Forum > Travel > How Many Safari Zones Are There in Tadoba?

Posted by VISHAL on June 06, 2026

Tadoba National Park is one of India's most popular tiger reserves and is known for its well-managed safari experience. The park is divided into multiple core and buffer zones, each offering unique landscapes and wildlife viewing opportunities. The major Safari Zones in Tadoba National Park include Moharli, Kolara, Navegaon, Zari, Pangdi, Alizanza, Devada, Junona, Agarzari, and several other buffer areas. Every zone has its own entry gate and provides visitors with the chance to spot tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs, deer, and a variety of bird species. While Moharli and Kolara are among the most popular gates for tiger sightings, the buffer zones have also gained popularity due to frequent wildlife activity. Choosing the right safari zone depends on availability, season, and recent animal movements. Booking your safari in advance ensures better access to preferred zones and safari timings.
