Forum > Travel > What Are the Safari Gates in Tadoba National Park?

Posted by VISHAL on July 24, 2026

Tadoba National Park has several safari gates that provide access to different core and buffer zones of the reserve, allowing visitors to explore diverse landscapes and wildlife habitats. Some of the most popular entry gates include Moharli, Kolara, Navegaon, Zari, Pangdi, Khutwanda, Agarzari, Junona, Adegaon, Alizanza, Madnapur, and Palasgaon. Each gate offers a unique safari experience, with certain zones being well known for frequent tiger sightings, while others are ideal for birdwatching and peaceful jungle drives. The Maharashtra Forest Department manages the Safari Gates in Tadoba, and visitors must enter through the gate mentioned on their safari permit. Choosing the right gate depends on your accommodation location, safari availability, and wildlife preferences. Booking your safari in advance is highly recommended, especially during the peak season from October to June, to secure your preferred gate and enjoy a memorable wildlife experience in Tadoba Tiger Reserve.
