For a family trip, I’d avoid the biggest Ravan Dahan grounds in central Delhi and choose a smaller local ground or a destination outside the busiest city areas. Reach early, check parking options, and leave a little before the event fully ends to avoid the biggest traffic rush.

If you’re travelling with a larger family or group, a tempo traveller on rent in Delhi can be more convenient than taking several cars. Everyone can travel together, and you can plan the pickup and drop around the Ravan Dahan timing.

For a more relaxed experience, look for a venue that offers seating, decent parking, and easy road access rather than choosing an event only because it has the biggest Ravan effigy.

Also, check the local event schedule a day or two before Dussehra because timings, entry rules and traffic arrangements can change each year.
