Celebrate the beauty, grace, and ecological significance of India’s national bird on World Peacock Day, with a special screening of the documentary “Sarang the Peacock”, followed by an engaging panel discussion and a photo exhibition celebrating the magnificent Indian peacock and its natural habitat.
The panel brings together distinguished voices in wildlife conservation and environmental advocacy: Dr. Asad Rahmani, former Director of the Bombay Natural History Society and one of its longest-serving directors; Mr. Sunil Harsana, the Aravali Crusader from Mangar Bani, known for his dedication to protecting the Aravalli landscape; and Dr. Susan Sharma, founder of IndianWildlifeClub and producer of the documentary.
Through film, photography, and thoughtful conversation, the event aims to deepen our appreciation of the peacock, highlight the importance of protecting its habitats, and inspire collective action for wildlife and biodiversity conservation.
Join us in celebrating this iconic bird and reaffirming our commitment to safeguarding the natural heritage we share.
Date: 15 November 2026 Time: 5 - 7 PM Venue: Museo Camera, Gurugram
