Now we all have heard the news that New Delhi is one of the most populated cities in the world and sadly it's true. Though more than 22.5 million live in this city and many of them are nature lovers with cameras. So in my first post on Indian Wildlife Club, I want to share a post on three stunning natural wonders which are visible in New Delhi.

Okhla Bird Sanctuary
Yes, in New Delhi, there is a Bird Sanctuary which is also a popular tourist destination for many travelers who plan a sightseeing tour of New Delhi. The location of this Bird Sanctuary is on the south east side of Delhi, and it's open all year around. The best time to visit Okhla Bird Sanctuary is from November to March, as in these months there are some migratory birds visible in the park. From here, these birds fly for Bharatpur, which also has a bird sanctuary by the name of Keoladeo National Park.

Lodhi Garden
New Delhi has many parks like Rajghat, near Rashtrapati Bhawan but a park where you can get lost because of size and greenery is Lodhi Garden. Lodhi Garden is named after the Lodhi dynasty which ruled New Delhi till the early 16th century. Later this park came under the British, who developed this land as a beautiful park and today, Lodhi Garden is one of the best tourist gardens in Delhi and worth a visit.

Mughal Gardens
Open for the regular public for two months, Mughal Garden is near Rashtrapati Bhawan and is also called as the garden of the Indian President, as he is allowed to visit this site anytime. Mughal Garden is not just in Delhi, but also in Jammu Kashmir but the one in Delhi offers a huge range of flowers, well cut plants & trees for which people stay in lines for hours, just to enter. No doubt that any list of beautiful tourist sites in New Delhi would be incomplete without the introduction of Mughal Gardens.
