Sparrows
In the words of the cartoonist "It comes from my concern about the littler things in life we do not notice. The world is talking about the less number of tigers, which I understand is a big concern. But I don't think anyone cares about birds, sparrows in particular, that were once in abundance; and are hardly seen now. It bothers me, hence this cartoon."

yes, sparrows in decline, very less people are aware about it. To revive sparrow population place boxes in some coners of your house and scatter grains. This may help if sparrows are around and would attract them. I'm doing this, but has'nt attracted any sparrows. The nearest sparrows I have seen is only a pair few streets away.
