Due to Covid Pandemic Corbett National Park was closed from March 2020. But now Corbett Tiger Reserve is going to open its gates for Tourist. Jim Corbett Safari Booking for Bijrani Zone has been startred & it is going to open as usual on 15 Oct.

But Uttarakhand govt. has announced some guidelines for interstate travelling like if you are coming from another state than you should have to carry your covid 19 negative report or you have to stay for -7 days. Also in safari covid test is mendatory.

Its high time to book your Jim Corbett Package & would suggest to book any of Riverside Resorts in Jim Corbett because swimming pool will remain closed as per govt. guideline.

Wildlife Tourism in Packages

Posted by Uday on June 12, 2020

This is the best way to go on wild excursions. The  packages are sort of ready made and come without any hassle. No need to make extensive travel arrangements, no need to book permits and no need for searching the right accommodation.

Making travel arrangments could be cumbersome and then traveling to foreign land can become worrisome. So why not let somebody else bother about the travels and related arrangements. And what more it may cost less as well.

Tour operator will do this for you. The companies offer ready made or tailor made packages which you can book. Number of people does not matter you may wish to travel alone or in a group. Group travel is more secure and costs less often.

India is a vast country with great distances that wildlife enthusiasts  often need you to make, most of then are overnight journeys. What more things could differ from one destination to another and so could be the language. All this will come to fore whence you visit many wildlife destinations. In package tour the landing agent or tour operators makes complete arrangements.

Most of the wildlife enthusiasts visit birding hotspots as well as a tiger reserve during the safari holidays. The best option is an itinerary that comprises of a visit to New Delhi which of course is the arrival point followed by a visit to iconic Taj Mahal at Agra. From here Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is close by hence few days could be spent here watching avian species that abound in the hotspot. During the stay about one hundred fifty species can be check listed.

Bharatpur abounds in wetland species and palearctic migrants. In the vast stretch of shallow fresh water lakes you will see thousands of winter migrants and residents. Small patches of forests, marsh and dry grasslands create a biodiversity by supporting grassland and forest species. At this destination you can avail of guide service which is of great assistance.

The distance between the bird sanctuary and Ranthambore Tiger Reserve is four and half hours of good roads. Hence the reserve is you next destination for tiger safari and bird watching. This is where you will see the majestic big cat and other mammals. The reserve is a panoramic bodiversity hub and amazing for a safari holiday.

The tigers are frequently seen in this park. A long duration package tour will be much exciting. The large number of days will help in discovering amazing animal and bird species. On jeep or canter safari you can see the big cats, crocodiles, caracal, deer, leopards and the sloth bear. The tiger reserve is also popular for wolf and small cat sightings. During the game rides you will see many speces of birds.

Many tour operators in India organize tour  which are comprehensive. Hence you can visit Bharatpur and Ranthambore on one wildlife package tour in India. Both the destinations are easily accessible with sound tourism infrastructure and connectivity. This will make your journey less troublesome and your holiday safari memmorable for life.

Videos that touch a string in your heart!

Around the Zoom meetings and exclusive World Environment Day videos, these are two videos that struck me as extremely relevant for today's world.

The first one is a Hawaiian trained environmentalist(born in India)evoking Mahatma Gandhi to urge people to reamin linkedin and connected to start a people's movement towards climate action.  Individual actions gain momentum when they become organized. Here is the link

https://youtu.be/BPIE_I4Qhyo

The second one is a talk by a young musician who has pledged to use his musical talents towatds environment and nature only. In December, 2019 he was talking to a small crowd in New Delhi, when he "predicted" with conviction that nature will take revenge and treat us the same way we are treating her. "Vasudeva Kutumbakam"  is talked about everyehere, but many understand it as unity of the human species only.  Do we need to expand our views?  Listen to his talk-20 minute long talk.  It is worth listening till the end.
