Which temple should be visited first in Char Dham Yatra?

Posted by Ajay Sengar on March 13, 2026

Forum Post

The traditional sequence of Char Dham Yatra starts from Yamunotri, then Gangotri, followed by Kedarnath, and finally Badrinath. This order follows the west-to-east direction and is considered the most auspicious route as per Hindu scriptures.

Yamunotri is the origin of River Yamuna, Gangotri is the source of River Ganga, Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Completing them in this sequence is believed to bring maximum spiritual merit.

Many pilgrims from Delhi plan this yatra between May and June or September and October. If you are travelling in a group, checking Delhi to Chardham tempo traveller rates is the most practical and budget-friendly option. A 9 or 12-seater tempo traveller gives you the flexibility to travel at your own pace across all four dhams comfortably.

Can tempo traveller be used for airport pickup and drop?

Posted by Ajay Sengar on March 13, 2026

Forum Post

Absolutely, and it's one of the smartest choices for group airport transfers.

When you book a tempo traveller on rent in Delhi, airport pickup and drop becomes stress-free, especially for large families, tour groups, or corporate teams arriving together at IGI Airport (Terminal 1, 2, or 3).

Here's why it works so well:

  • Fixed pricing: No surge fares unlike app-based cabs.

  • Luggage space: Overhead racks and under-seat storage handle multiple bags easily.

  • On-time reliability: Professional drivers track flight schedules and adjust pickup timing.

  • Comfortable capacity: A single 12 or 16-seater replaces 3–4 separate cabs, keeping your group together.

  • Door-to-door service: Direct pickup from your hotel or home, drop at the terminal.

Whether it's an early morning departure or a late-night arrival, a dedicated tempo traveller for airport transfer is efficient, economical, and comfortable for everyone.

Why Uttarakhand in March Is the Perfect Spring Getaway

Posted by BizareXpedition on March 12, 2026

Forum Post

As winter slowly fades, the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand begins to transform into a beautiful spring destination. March is considered one of the best months to visit this region because it marks the transition between the quiet, snowy winter and the vibrant life of spring. During this time, the landscapes become greener, the skies clearer, and the overall atmosphere perfect for travel.

Uttarakhand in March offers a balanced experience for every type of traveler. Whether you are a nature lover, an adventure enthusiast, or someone looking for a peaceful spiritual retreat, the region provides stunning views, pleasant weather, and a refreshing mountain environment.

The Beauty of the Spring Transition

One of the biggest reasons to visit Uttarakhand in March is the comfortable and pleasant weather. The harsh winter cold begins to ease, making travel easier and more enjoyable. Days are usually sunny and mild, while mornings and evenings remain cool and refreshing. This climate makes it perfect for sightseeing, exploring hill towns, and enjoying nature without extreme temperatures.

Spring also brings a visual transformation to the mountains. Forests become lush and green, flowers begin to bloom, and the valleys appear more vibrant than ever. The clear skies and fresh mountain air make March an excellent time for photography and enjoying panoramic views of the Himalayas.

Top Destinations to Explore

Uttarakhand is home to many beautiful destinations, each offering a unique travel experience.

Nainital
This charming hill station is especially enjoyable in March. Visitors can enjoy peaceful boat rides on Naini Lake, take relaxing walks around the town, and explore scenic viewpoints that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Auli
For travelers who still want to experience a bit of winter, Auli is a perfect destination. In early March, snow can still be found on the slopes, making it ideal for skiing, cable car rides, and enjoying spectacular Himalayan scenery.

Rishikesh
Known as the Yoga Capital of the World, Rishikesh offers a mix of spiritual experiences and adventure activities. Travelers can attend peaceful yoga retreats, witness the beautiful Ganga Aarti, or enjoy thrilling river rafting on the Ganges River.

Adventure and Natural Serenity

March also marks the beginning of the adventure season in Uttarakhand. As the snow starts melting in lower regions, trekking trails gradually open up, allowing hikers to explore forests, valleys, and scenic mountain routes.

Wildlife enthusiasts can also visit nearby national parks, where the pleasant weather increases the chances of spotting animals and birds in their natural habitat. The natural beauty and peaceful surroundings make Uttarakhand a perfect destination for outdoor activities and relaxation.

A Peaceful and Relaxed Escape

Another advantage of visiting Uttarakhand in March is that it comes before the busy summer tourist season. Since crowds are smaller, travelers can enjoy popular destinations, hotels, and attractions in a more relaxed way.

Quiet hill towns, fresh mountain air, and beautiful landscapes create a calm environment where visitors can truly unwind and reconnect with nature.

Conclusion

Uttarakhand in March offers a perfect blend of nature, adventure, and tranquility. From scenic lakes and snow-covered peaks to spiritual towns and lush valleys, this Himalayan state provides an unforgettable spring travel experience. For anyone looking to escape into the mountains, March is the ideal time to discover the beauty and peace of Uttarakhand.

Which Delhi Highway Exit Is Fastest for Manali Route During Peak Traffic?

Posted by Ajay Sengar on March 12, 2026

Forum Post

I have lived in Delhi my whole life and done this route more times than I can count  here's the honest answer.

Your exit strategy depends entirely on where in Delhi you're starting from.

From South Delhi / Gurgaon side: NH-44 via Mukarba Chowk is your cleanest shot. Avoid Azadpur during morning hours. It's a nightmare on weekends.

From East Delhi / Noida: Cross via NH-9 to GTK Road. Early morning departure before 5am makes this surprisingly smooth.

Universal tips for any Delhi to Manali Tempo Traveller journey:

  • Leave between 11pm–2am Delhi traffic disappears completely

  • Panipat bypass saves 40 minutes versus old GT Road

  • Karnal to Ambala stretch has heavy trucking plan a chai break here

  • Avoid Friday evenings every group in Delhi has the same idea

Most operators offering tempo traveller hire Delhi to Manali know these routes well but always confirm your departure time during booking. A good driver will suggest leaving late at night automatically. If they say "anytime is fine" that's a red flag.

Here's why it makes sense:

  • Safe travel: GPS-tracked vehicles with experienced interstate drivers

Day 2: Agra Sightseeing and Drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Awaken early to experience one of the most remarkable sights on Earth – the sunrise at the Taj Mahal! Also known as the "Taj Mahal" (a tribute from Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to his wife Mumtaz Mahal), the Taj Mahal is one of history's best examples of love and is included among the Seven Wonders of the World. The experience of watching the sun rise over the magnificent white marble monument will remain with you forever. After visiting the Taj Mahal, return to your hotel for breakfast.
