- Deepak Arya: We southies find it very difficult to travel and other logistics
- Anirudh Nair: oh ok..i was curious to know how trekking in the Himalayas is different from the Western Ghats?
- Deepak Arya: W Ghats it is green almost all the way
- Maninder Kohli: I like doing exploratory treks where others have not gone sometimes 7-14 days etc very different

- Anirudh Nair: I am a student studying in Pune.
- Maninder Kohli: Mountaineering is difficult as you need atleast 3 weeks for a climb but trekking is more managable
- Deepak Arya: Good you are close to quite a lot of good trekking routes
- Maninder Kohli: yes there is an advantage if you are in Delhi
- Anirudh Nair: Yes i had recently climbed a fort called Rajgadh..college study tour..was a brilliant experience.
